I’m Mukhtar – and I like to think I’m pretty clued up on most things. But I know that for many people money matters can be complicated, especially if things go wrong.
This is where I feel I can make a real difference. My job involves going out into the community, talking about the ombudsman service.
People are sometimes surprised to see me and ombudsman colleagues at consumer shows. Of course, we hope the people we meet won’t ever run into difficulties or need to use the ombudsman service. But just knowing we are here to help should reassure you – and give you that bit of extra confidence in money matters.
