"ombudsman" - should we keep our name or change it?

Following Lord Hunt's recent review of the Financial Ombudsman Service - and his recommendation that we should change our name to something more accessible - we ran a survey on our website to see what people thought about the word "ombudsman".

We are very grateful to everyone who emailed us with their views on our name - all of which we will be taking into account as we consider how to take forward Lord Hunt's recommendations.
