if you think you've been mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI)

1. complain to the business that sold you the PPI

If the business you think sold you the PPI isn't listed below – or if you're unsure about anything – we can help. We can get in touch with the business for you, tell them about your complaint, and ask them to investigate it.

2. ask us to look at your complaint

If you're not happy with how the business has dealt with your complaint, you can ask us to look into it for you at the ombudsman.

You will need to fill out our complaint form and the PPI questionnaire – so that we know all the important facts about your case. We can help you do this.

8 out of 10 cases we take on are now about PPI. And with 2,000 new cases arriving every day, the ombudsman is taking on its biggest job ever.

If you've already got a PPI complaint with us, we've got a special section on our website to keep people updated on what's happening.
