Credit card complaints hit all time high
1 March 2024
Our latest complaints data publication shows that perceived unaffordable lending has driven complaints relating to credit cards to their highest quarterly level.
Today we’ve published data showing how many complaints we received about individual businesses – and the uphold rate of those we resolved – between January and June 2020.
We received a total of just over 118,000 complaints in this period. PPI continues to be the most complained about product, with a total of almost 41,500 new complaints received in the first half of 2020. We upheld 31% of complaints in the consumers’ favour. For the full data set and analysis, see our half-yearly complaints data page.
