Credit card complaints hit all time high

Our latest complaints data publication shows that perceived unaffordable lending has driven complaints relating to credit cards to their highest quarterly level.
The Financial Ombudsman Service has published its complaints data on financial products for July – September 2022 (Q2).
The Financial Ombudsman Service received 38,470 new complaints in Q2, up from 35,029 new complaints in April – June (Q1).
The top five most complained about products are below:
The Financial Ombudsman Service continued to uphold 34% of complaints in the consumers’ favour.
