Festival refunds are not guaranteed so know your rights, warns the Financial Ombudsman Service

As festival season gets going, many consumers may not understand their rights to getting their money back if things go wrong.
We’re aware of news reports that the airline Flybe has entered administration.
Customers could be affected either through having booked flights through Flybe, or customers might be currently on a trip and have a flight home booked with Flybe.
We would advise customers to check their terms and conditions, the Flybe website and news reports for general advice on what you should do in these circumstances.

We would also advise customers to be wary of scams. If you are contacted by someone claiming that they are able to act to help you recover your money, it may be a scam.
