We’ve been recognised for our wide range of mental health activities and communication to de-stigmatise mental health.
The Financial Ombudsman Service has won a Working Families Best Practice Award. It won best for ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing’, which was one of the newest and most popular categories this year.
The ombudsman service was recognised for its wide range of mental health activities and communication to de-stigmatise mental health. This is through its mental health first aiders, boosting resilience training, flexible working approach, workplace adjustments support, and the work its employee networks do to support its people.
The Working Families Best Practice Awards showcase and recognise employers who lead the way in offering flexible and employee friendly working environments.
Caroline Nugent, HR director at the Financial Ombudsman Service, said
I’m really proud that we’ve been recognised for our work in mental health. We’ve had positive feedback from people who really appreciate the support – and we hope that other employers will follow our lead.
