Ombudsman Connect – our online portal for consumers

Ombudsman Connect provides an easy and secure way to stay up to date on the progress of your case with the Financial Ombudsman.  

If you have a case with us, you can now sign up to use Ombudsman Connect to log in, view and manage your case online.

Once we’ve set up your case, Ombudsman Connect lets you to track the progress online, at a time that's suitable for you. You can also upload documents and share information with us using the messaging service.

What you need to know before signing up

Customers who already have a case with us will receive an invitation to sign up to Ombudsman Connect by the end of 2025, but you can request access earlier than that by calling us on 0800 023 4567.

Once you receive your invitation, you’ll be asked to follow steps to set up a password and complete security information. 

If you register to use Ombudsman Connect, we will use it as the main way we update or contact you about your case with us. 

If you’re using a lawyer or claims management company to represent you, you won’t be able to use our online portal to view or manage your case directly. Please contact us if you have any questions about this. 

You can’t bring a new complaint to us using Ombudsman Connect. To bring a new complaint to us online, you must use our online complaint form

Log in

After you have completed the sign-up process, you can log in to Ombudsman Connect to view and track your case. 

If you have any issues logging in, you can call or email our helpline and our Customer Advisers will be able to help you.
