Financial Ombudsman Service publishes a Discussion Paper on its future funding model

The Financial Ombudsman Service has today published a Discussion Paper on possible changes to its future funding model.
Today we’ve published data showing number of complaints we received between 1 July and 30 September 2020.
We received 119,214 enquiries and almost 69,000 complaints in this time – with over 5,900 complaints relating to Covid-19. We upheld 32% of complaints we received.

We’ve also published our latest quarterly data showing the number of complaints we’ve received and resolved about claims management companies (CMCs).
