We're consulting on changing our case fee structure which would see businesses pay less for complaints which are resolved earlier in the investigation process.

Earlier this month, we announced that Abby Thomas has been appointed to the role of Chief Executive and Chief Ombudsman, following an extensive and competitive recruitment process. Nausicaa Delfas will continue as Interim Chief Executive and Chief Ombudsman until Abby joins in the Autumn.
We published a Discussion Paper earlier this month about possible changes to our future funding model, as part of our commitment to change and improve the organisation.
We are seeking feedback from financial services organisations, trade bodies, consumer groups and other stakeholders. The Discussion Paper is open for responses until 5 August 2022. Read the full paper and find out how to send us your response, on our website.
Our annual complaints data is a review of our work over the last financial year. We’ve recently published our latest set of data that shows the volume of complaints we received and resolved, and the proportion of complaints we upheld. We also share sector-by-sector insight into trends in complaints.
We've published our latest annual complaints data about claims management companies (CMCs). The data shows the volume of complaints we received and resolved about CMCs, and the proportion of complaints upheld in the customer's favour in the last financial year.

From 1 April 2025, professional representatives will be charged £250 to refer a case to our service due to our new charging regime.
