Financial Ombudsman Service continues to see a fall in cases

Our Q2 2025/26 complaints data shows that new cases coming to us have dropped by more than a third, as professional representatives bring fewer cases.
Today we’ve published data showing the number of complaints we received about individual businesses between 1 January and 30 June 2022.
We received a total of almost 73,000 complaints in this period. We upheld 37% of complaints we received.

We’ve also published our latest half-yearly data showing the number of complaints received about individual claims management companies (CMCs).
