Financial Ombudsman received 53,600 cases in the first quarter of 2026/27

Case levels at the Financial Ombudsman Service remained stable in the first quarter of 2026/27, newly published data showed today.
We’re aware of news reports that the airline Flybe has entered administration.
Customers could be affected either through having booked flights through Flybe, or customers might be currently on a trip and have a flight home booked with Flybe.
We would advise customers to check their terms and conditions, the Flybe website and news reports for general advice on what you should do in these circumstances.
